Paderborn, March 2018.
On 15 March, we welcomed more than 100 specialists and executives from the energy and water industry to the garage33 start-up centre in Paderborn to inform them about modern business process solutions, mobile apps and digital technologies.
In the first block “Digital Processes for Network Operators”, process consultant David Barcklow (Process People GmbH) gave the participants impulses for the implementation of a digital agenda. Subsequently, project manager Dirk Stelloh (Mettenmeier GmbH) presented concrete solutions for a fully digitized network connection process.
The second block was opened by Axel Gurok, cadastral office manager at the Paderborn district, with an insight into the official cadastral data and their added value for network operators. Max Erdmann from Syqlo GmbH was eagerly awaited to present the current state of development and the price model of the NAVA app, which for the first time makes it possible to measure house connections with a smartphone. The results of practical tests with network operators were also presented.
Jürgen Rehrmann (Mettenmeier GmbH) concluded the lecture series with an excursion on the topic ” Spatial Base Data and Quality Assurance of Network Documentation”. In the subsequent live demonstrations, the participants had the opportunity for individual consultation – according to the motto “Digitalisation to touch”.
We would like to thank all participants, speakers and the University of Paderborn for providing us with a suitable setting for this successful event with garage33.
As the event was fully booked, a new date is already planned.
