Description

Development and implementation of a solution based on Lotus Notes/Domino and Lotus Workflow for the automatic initiation of workflow processes during initial indexing in the inbox, distribution of processes based on functional and organisational criteria to process execution, if possible by calling functions in contract management (AS/400 DB2), subsequent indexing during and after process execution, archiving of completed processes (SER ITA archive), generation of statistical data for evaluation with data warehouse tools.

Results

Replacement of the paper distribution of incoming mail. Rule-based distribution of processes with clear responsibilities of the workflow agents and traceable process status. Shorter throughput times (approx. 500 processes/day) and overview of document volume and processing status. Electronic archiving of incoming mail. Solution's clamp function via the integrated systems (archive, contract management).
